Nine Churches Walk
Jesus is condemned to death and takes up his cross.
Jesus is stripped of his garments and is nailed to the cross.
Jesus is taken down from the cross and laid in his tomb.
Watch 2020’s Virtual Nine Churches Walk
Due to popular demand we will re-broadcast our 2020 Nine Churches Walk starting at Noon on Good Friday.
Last year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were unable to hold our traditional Nine Churches Walk pilgrimage. Instead, we held a virtual walk broadcast live over YouTube, which was composed of images of the churches and stations and reflections and prayers from Jesuit students. Brandon Briscoe of the class of 1998 was generous enough to record his histories of the church which preceded each station. The video will go live once again starting at noon on Good Friday.
